Worth seeing.

Tina Fey not drawn as hot as the jail-bait viking from How to Train Your Dragon, but a movie well worth watching, if only for some very clever setups and payoffs, as well as some familiar plot twists twisted in new ways.

This movie is clever in ways that most movies simply are not, and that in itself makes it very refreshing.

Is it pretty kid-friendly? Mine are 5 and 7 and I worry about the PG rating...

It's perfectly okay for young kids and hilarious!

I loved it...probably too much as me and my friends now text each other random quotes from it...

We saw it with a six-year old who's pretty sensitive to violence and scary stuff and he had no problems with it at all. He's in the middle of a brutal bout with the flu, though, so he may not have been all there... Still, there was no sexual innuendo like you get with a lot of other cartoons, the violence was very warner-brothers-style cartoony (no blood, no gore, no serious pain or agony). Kids should be just fine with it.
