Some shenanigans (which were completely my fault) in another thread got me thinking of a Great AW Song Chain.
Someone posts a song title and artist, and the next person has to find a link to another song based on artist, title, or related words in the lyrics.
Example: AC/DC - Whole Lotta Rosie
Response #1: Cracklin' Rosie - Neil Diamond.
Response #2: Neil Diamond - Heartlight.
Only rule: The same link cannot be used two posts in a row. For example, Response #3 cannot be "Neil Diamond - You don't bring me flowers" because Neil has been used for the previous link, but response #3 could be "Pink Floyd - Shine on you crazy diamond," "Heart - Dreamboat Annie," etc.
Not a rule but a suggestion: if you link based on a line in the song, post the related line(s), so you're not coming out of left field. For example: Post: "Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody." Response: Steven Lunch - Beelz (through the line "Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me.")
Make sense? Good. So to start off, the local classic rock station is currently playing:
Metallica - Whiskey in the jar
