Hi, all!
I've found AW's site to be very helpful in the past, but only recently actually joined, so I guess that makes me a newb, too!

I've been a professional freelance writer for almost ten years now, working mostly in the roleplaying game industry (pen and paper, not pixels). I've written one tie-in novel (ie: set in a gaming world) and written or contributed to more than 30 gaming products over the years.

I currently run an etiquette and advice column for the modern geek lifestyle called "One Geek to Another", and am also experimenting with a direct-marketed, patronage-model fiction project - The Shattered Glass Project.

All, of course, while I continue to freelance in the gaming industry and work on writing and trying to find homes for my own original novel-length fiction.

I am looking forward to getting to know more folks here, and to the camaraderie and shared experiences that AW offers!

Welcome to AW. Hope you enjoy your stay with us.
How do you like your popcorn? Hi neighbor...and fellow game player.

If you go to the bottom of the page to the ‘forum jump’ you can scroll down and find all the areas of this place. Most of the SYW areas require the password of ….vista. Good luck.

Greetings and welcome to the watercooler :welcome:

Take a wander around the various forums, there's lots to see and lots to learn, and even some fun threads too. Come along and pop on over to the Traditional Irish Pub (at the top of the Newbie forum) and say hi, there's plenty of friendly faces that you can chat with and lots of banter. There's also the Question of the Day threads at the top of the Newbie forum where you can answer random questions.

Don't forget to read the newbie guide, and if you want to know what all the buttons mean check out this thread.
