Is Norwich off the menu? Don't think I can do Oxford. I can get to Cambridge really easily, but I don't mind another option.

Norwich and Cambridge are my preferences as I live in Norwich and finances mean I can't travel very far at the moment. I may not even make cambridge if things get very tight.

I'm easy as to locale, aside from London. Date is more the driving factor as to whether I can attend. Norwich, Cambridge, and Oxford work for me. As does, yanno, Manchester. :D

Norwich or Cambridge are definitely my choices out of those. No offence to Manc, of course. :tongue

If we go for Norwich, you can tell us the best pub. Result.

I have a car! If the choice is Cambridge and the Norwich contingency can get to Diss bus or train station - train would be best - I can pick you up and off we go! I'd be going for an early start - no, I mean really early! I can get three in the car in comfort and four if three of you have skinny bums. I'll supply hot water in a thermos and some decaff instant coffee.

If the choice is Norwich, and there's anyone not too far off the course from Milton Keynes, I don't mind giving lifts. Might stay overnight if we're all the way up there though. And it's three passengers max in my car, regardless of the skinniness of your bums.

So you will have the front passenger seat . . .

Firedrake no final decision has been made about location - where would be good for you?

Anywhere in the middle really. I'm near Swindon, so 'middle' is best. East Anglia is a hike.

So . . . does anyone think we should have a poll to decide where. We have Oxford, Cambridge and where else?

We need a poll :)

Oxford, Cambridge, London or Norwich?

London would be the best for me 'cause that's where I live but I heart Oxford and know folks in Publishing there who could join us and answer Qs and the like. I've never been to Cambridge but I imagine it should be easy enough to get to from London even though it's farther away.

Don't think I can do Norwich though bit too far for a day trip and I can't afford to spend the night.

Oh, I might bring Jos. But I'd be worried he'd upset people.

Poll choices - my preferences in order.

1: Norwich
2: Cambridge
10,00000: Anywhere else.

Edit: If we're on the new place before then and the trip is Norwich, We'll have a spare bed for a someone.
