Dance like a banana maniac?

And of course I'll join. The first Cantina went well past page 1000. I'll get the actual number.

Good morning all! Yay for still being here! :D

and omg.... bought so many books at the kindle store....

*groans*

That Kindle is dangerous. It's waaaay too easy to buy books. But, I still love it. *Hugs Kindle*

I have an excuse! I have stitches in my ass!

Your excuse is pretty good. I'd be using that to get out of many a chore.

I've spent more money buying books for my Kindle than I ever did when I actually had to get up and drive to the book store. It's a little scary and uncontrollable. teehee!

The building is on auxiliary power due to localized outage. Random corners and rooms are murky, and the peripheral shadows aren't falling the way they should. It's making me very edgy.

I love a couple of kilted men. the Pretty one is my son.

Cool! I like the shirts with the tie-thingies (yeah tie-thingies is totally a technical term).

Maybe you need to investigate said shadows for goblins and such.

 Maybe you need to investigate. :D

Just recovered from our third surge. They all last just long enough to shut everything down. I'm starting to worry about my own power source at this point.

Yeah, I love those keyhole neckline tunics, myself. funny story. The morning of the wedding, I get a frantic phone call from my son. He says that they were was a problem with the clothes, they had no shirt for the best man, and could I make one?

I had no cloth. No pattern. No idea of size or anybody to try the shirt onto. No idea what the other shirts looked like precisely.

I took down an explanation on the phone, then found some unbleached muslin left over from a quilt made the winter before. And I made a shirt, with no pattern, no model, and only two hours warning. the White Shirt
in the middle is the one I did, and Simon, the best man, refused to give it back; he liked it too much.

Wow, that's impressive. I'm not 100% certain I could sew on a button if I had to. :D
