How do I spend the money!?! (ok, it's not that much, but STILL!!!)

Hello!

I had an article appear in a magazine in May --- I just received the payment for it today, and I nearly sprayed Dr. Pepper out of my nose... I was expecting 50 or 100$, but it was 435$ !!!

It's the first time I have ever been published for money, and it is supercool!

I've decided that I am going to spend the entire amount on myself, on something frivolous (or perhaps not so frivolous...). The first thing I thought was: CLOTHES! but then I said: wait, I should get something useful, and preferably something to do with writing...

(but maybe I should get clothes?!?)

So, any suggestions???

Congrats 266, getting the cash is a good feeling.

I remember back when I was living in the Yukon, a major golf magazine approached me to write a story about golf courses in the Yukon.
It sounded easy and I was expecting to be paid $100 or $150.
When I asked how much they would pay for the story, they said $750. :hooray:
