According to their website, and Ralan's Webstravaganza, Apex is open to novel subs until July 31st.

I subbed to Apex a few weeks ago. Last night, I had a comment on my blog from them - basically, they had a system crash and so lost my email. Someone there remembered my name and submission; they managed to find my blog and asked me to resend.

So as far as I'm concerned, they're very nice people and are free to marry my sister any day of the week.

Good to know, seun. I subbed to them July 1st. I guess I'll wait and see if they make any public announcement about losing submissions before checking to see if they still have mine.

Apex has recently signed up with Diamond Distribution. Moving into the big leagues, and deservedly. My experience with Apex is very positive, and I wouldn't hesitate to work with Jason again if given the chance. He's very responsive to his writers, and when there's hiccups he will tell you exactly why and what, and deal with them honestly and openly.

I hope their new national and international distribution leads to huge success.

I got a friendly rejection from Apex just under two weeks ago. Definitely come across as a decent company in any case.
