Game: How Well Do You Know Your MC?

Renzo -- After his dad's marriage to a human, he and his sister and dad moved to the human rhombus world (basically the realm where humans live) Renzo isn't human so adjusting to hiding his supernatural powers was hard.

Who does your MC consider their guardian? Their parents? Their grandparents? Or someone else?

Avery: He considers his elder brother Jack his guardian. They had a complicated relationship with their father so naturally, when Avery moved away to the city, he would ask Jack for advice since there were no longer any repercussions to it.
Relationship problems? He asks Jack. Trouble with the coworkers? He asks Jack. Bad haircut? He asks Jack what to do.

Would your MC consider themselves a good parent, or potentially a good parent?

Nickalye -- He may just be the orphanage owner, but he considers himself a parent to the orphans. He loves each orphan and spends time with each of them. He doesn't let them get adopted either, because he knows their family is with him and the other orphanage staff.

What would your MC name their autobiography?

Jack: 'What are you gonna do, cuff me?'

Would your MC choose to go camping or caravanning?

Maxwell: He would go camping, because he loves being outside too much to be stuck in a caravan, even if that caravan was in the middle of the forest.

Who is your MC's hero?

Grant - His hero is his older cousin, Miles. He's the older brother/mentor figure in Grant's life that helped sculpted him to be the person he is currently. He strives to be as fantastic and amazing as him.


Would your MC ever get married and have kids? Would they want to?

Jack: As much as he loves kids, Jack has always been terrified that he would end up being just like his own father. He knows he can get quite angry quickly and utterly hates his own disorganisation. Part of his dreams of being a father but the thought of messing up terrifies him. However, he dreams of finding the right partner and settling down. Jack would love a modern wedding, with good music and dancing and maybe a few breaks from tradition.

Which (if any) of the twelve virtues would your MC consider overrated?

Charity and temperance, for sure. In regards to charity, she feels whats hers is hers, and she has no obligation to share it with anybody she doesn't want to, let alone faceless strangers she never met. As for temperance, she regularly spends tons of money on herself, her passions and projects, and the few people she cares about...she goes big or goes home, and sees no point in spending her life denying herself pleasure and living "like a corpse" in the name of some moral ideals.

Is your MC an idealist or realist?

Shade- Realist. She fixes and complains about things through the facts although you'd never guess that about her.
Wintermin--Idealist-- he dreams of being somewhere else, in a different life, he tends to exaggerate and be dramatic.

How good would your MC be at hide-and-seek? In their house, where would they hide?

Shade usually gets kettle corn after her daredevil performances and munches on that.
Wintermin likes pie.

If your MC found treasure would they keep it as decoration, give it away, or sell it?

Avery would probably keep it. He has grown an affinity for collecting weird things throughout his life as a wizard (you never knew what could be magical!). He is a habitual treasure collector now. His brother takes the mick out of him about it.

If your MC had to write a book themselves, what genre would they choose?

Remy -- She would write a horror story, because her mom and uncle are both vampires and Remy is interested in collecting creepy dolls / stuffed animals. She also loves watching horror movies with her dad.

She doesn't find anyone in her regular group of friends annoying; she loves them all. If she counts C's friends as friends, however, B is definitely like a rash that keeps coming back.

Does your MC struggle with any of the 7 deadly sins?

Glory struggles with wrath. Sometimes she fixates on the things that make her angry (this as she gets older mostly) and what she can do to get even for it.

Does your MC believe in the afterlife?

Thaddeus -- He is a ghost after all, so yes.

What's your MC's favorite season?

Grant - Fall's his favorite season. He lives in Arizona so he enjoys it not being scorching hot outside during that time.

If you MC were ever locked up, what would it be for?

Shade-- Well, she broke into a radio studio once to save people, so I guess that. But she had a police officer with her. Actually, she'd probably say something she wasn't supposed to and make the wrong person mad.
Wintermin-- For having a monster friend with a stealing habit. He often gets accused of things that was his monster's fault, but he can't tell anyone.

What's your MC's favorite sound?

Lillium - She loves the sound of bells. In the rhombus world (realm) she comes from her species tie bells to tree branches to signify good news.

What is your MC's least favorite animal and why?

How about... How well does your MC get along with their siblings?

Grant - His older half-brother is an otherworldly prince who is responsible for nearly all the conflicts that Grant is going through (in regards of the magical threats) and is also responsible for the death of his birthparents. On top of this he's trying to bring about the end of all things...so Grant doesn't get along very well with him lol

What would your MC change about themselves?

Lint -- She could change her Level 1 Glitch. A Glitch is the same thing as a mutation, but since my story is in a computer programmed world I call them glitches. Luckily, she only has a Level 1 Glitch, but unluckily, it makes her hair white. She would change her hair to a cooler color like green or brown. (She can't use hair dye, because it just slides off her hair without coloring the hair)

How does your MC do in school?

She has good marks and is in the top percentile of her class, but dosen’t really earn her academic sucssess. She is highly intelligent, yes, but has bigger priorities than school. As a result she uses both her family name (her father is basicly the dictator of her world, in a sense) and natural talent for being a BS artist to get unreasonable extensions on homework deadlines and other sorts of special treatment. If she was forced to play by the rules of school, she would inevitably flunk out due to her sheer laziness when it comes to things not realted to her main priorities.

If your character was going to be sorted into a cliche’ high school “clique” (I.E. jock, nerd, prep, goth/emo, delinquent etc...) which would it be?

Jaye -- When he went to a public elementary school he was always considered a delinquent, although he was a goody-two shoes. Let me explain.
Right after he was born, his ex-gang-member father who had never gotten caught got caught. The father was arrested and stayed in jail until Jaye was eight. When Jaye was eight his mother got very sick and had to stay in the hospital for a few months. The jail let the father out for good behavior and they allowed him to stay with Jaye. They moved to be closer to the mother When the kids (and teachers) at school found out he lived with his jailbird father they assumed him to be a delinquent, though at his old school he was a star student. I didn't even mention the fact that the father was a powerful black magic user and Jaye inherited his gift.

Does your MC like their picture taken?

Shade-- For a celebrity, no. She thinks she looks awful in all her pictures, but then again, she never knows when someone's about to take her picture.

What's something your MC can't stand that all his/her friends like?
