Below is a very moorish recipe. Doesn't matter where you are, or what size cups or spoons you use assuming you are using either metric or imperial measurements.
Does anyone else have any?
White Chocolate and Macadamia Brownies
Adapted and reproduce in Australian Flavour Courtesy of Macadamia Society
Of white chocolate, chopped:
1st measure 1/2 cup
2nd measure 3/4 cup
150g butter 1/2 cup
3 eggs, lightly whisked
1 cup flour
½ cup whole milk powder
¼ cup caster sugar
¼ teaspoon baking powder
1 cup whole macadamia nuts
Yield approximately 16
Preheat oven to 180˚C (350F)
Grease a 20cm (8 1/2 inches) square cake pan. Line the base and sides with baking paper, allowing it to overhang the sides.
Place the first measure of chocolate and the butter in a small saucepan and heat over boiling water, stirring constantly, until the chocolate and butter melt. Set aside to cool slightly. Add the eggs to the cooled butter mixture and stir with a wooden spoon until well combined.
Sift the flour, milk powder, sugar and baking powder into a medium bowl. Stir in the second measure of chopped chocolate and nuts. Add the butter mixture and stir until just combined.
