This UK agency has requested 50 pages of my manuscript. Their commission for foreign writers is 20% instead of the usual 15%. Their USA associate is ICM.
Are there any American writers here who have been repped by a foreign agent? Are there special issues one should be aware of?
I e-mailed Mr. Coleman yesterday for permission to query, he responded this morning with a courteous reply requesting me to send fifty pages to assistant Ms. Pamela Hunt.
their contact. Their java script is written to work on netscape. So if you're using IE8, you may want to view their contacts here: http://www.susanlewis.com/contact.asp
I emailed a query to Mr. Eady this afternoon. According to their guidelines, I included the first 50 pages. This is my first query to a non-American agent. Have any US authors here had any recent experiences with them? I will post back when I receive a response from them.
