Really only know two areas well enough to be of any use.

I spent five years in the Airborne Infantry so ask about...
- military deployments & combat (Iraq particularly)
- modern tactics
- modern firearms, explosives, and sniper techniques
- antique firearms
- military vehicles
- all-around military stuff

I have a BA and MA in Archaeology so ask way about ...
- the material cultures of Europe, Anatolia, and Britain (Pre-historic to pretty much little after Roman occupation)
- particularly knowledgeable in middle-east/Anatolia
- what people actually find at archaeological sites (only certain things are preserved)
- Please dont ask me about any Ancient Astronaut theories (unless you wanna talk about how wrong they are)

Oooh, this thread could be incredibly useful.

I'm not an expert in anything, but there are a few fields I know a little more about than most non-experts:
- US law and legal theory
- Philosophy
- Protestant theology, evangelicalism, and comparative religion
- LGBT issues
- Video games, their history and design theory
- Tabletop RPG design
- Film theory and in particular animation
- RSE-era competitive Pokémon meta 😂

I used to know something about IT, but my time has passed.

I wouldn't call myself an expert yet but I plan on getting a Ph.D. in psychology, and most want to be a researcher.

Any sort of psychological or philosophical discussion, theory, work, etc. suits my interest.
New to practicing meditation, roller blading, writing in general, etc.
I also know a disturbing amount about the Dark Souls series of video games. Can't get enough of the lore!

Like many others have said I wouldn't call myself an expert, but I do have an eclectic background of education and experience and I'm happy to help anyone needing it.

12 years experience as a police dispatcher and 911 operator in a large metropolitan police department. I'll be more helpful in large department scenarios than I would be in a 2 officer town type of scenario.

5 years of experience as a wedding planner.

2 years of experience as a psychotherapist specializing in trauma. I am happy to discuss day to day life as a counselor or generalizations about treatment and symptoms.

Ping me if there is anything I can help you with.

Best

what an excellent idea to share subjects that we consider ourselves reasonably 'expert' in. For myself, I can offer:

The cable TV industry
Big data and how it can be used
rescue dogs
skiing (both downhill and via helicopter)
journalism and how it works

It's not much but if anyone has questions, please fire away.

Glued to my computer screen.
I don't feel like an expert either, but here's what I know in case it would come in handy for someone:

BS in Psychology (although that was years ago and the field changes, but I could still be useful)

Artist - mostly digital mediums
Nature-lover
Foraging
Survival knowledge, but thankfully haven't had need for all of it, so knowledge - but not tons of experience.
Homesteader
Gardening
Raised Goats, Ducks, Chickens, Guinea Fowl
Autism
Being Aromantic and Asexual
Having trans and bi family
Food Allergies
Diets
Cooking
Chronic Illness / Disabled
USA Areas: Oklahoma and Western Oregon
Had a stalker for years

And I study lots of random things for my stories and out of boredom. ;) Such as mythology, language creation, and such.
