Not so much listened to, as overheard and endured, painfully: I was at a restaurant, where they were running a 1970s-1980s rock service station, and the one running through my head right now is:
"Some Kind of Wonderful" by Grand Funk, possibly the worst commercialy successful rock group in the history of music.Which just, painfully, reminded me of another big hit of theirs, "American Band", with Nobel-Prize winning lyrics like:
We're coming to your town,
We'll help you party down,
We're an American Band."
And people wonder why nobody living outside our national boundaries likes us.
