Yeah, I got a much more neutral one last year, too. Different agent within Zeno, though.

As far as I know, John was the only agent there until late last year/early this year.

Stefan Fergus was his assistant, and the one I dealt with. He has stepped into a different role now, and they have hired a different reader, in addition to the new agent.

Zeno is open again for the summer. This time looking for: "horror, crime & thrillers, epic/heroic fantasy and story-driven space opera. We will also consider high-concept speculative fiction that would appeal to non-genre readers."
Not sure my Fantasy is high-concept enough to submit at this time (if by 'high-concept' we're going for whole-world-will-end/change scenarios), but will keep my eyes open.

John was still there in October when I met him at a con, but it looks like that may have changed now - a friend of mine who was repped by him is now listing his agent as John Berlyne at Zeno.
