I was recently accepted into the Hurston/Wright Foundation's Writers' Week Workshop!
Thing is, I don't know too much about this foundation or this workshop. I was told it's competitive, but I don't know if that actually means something. Does anyone have any experience? I would love to go, if only for the opportunity to network and get my writing out into the world, but it also costs $500 or so. Is it worth it?
(Please forgive me if this is an inapproriate place/this thread already exists!)
