Does anyone have any recent personal experience working with or submitting to Workman Publishing? Am considering sending a proposal there and couldn't find much chatter about them.

They've got print books in Walmart and I've seen more than a few of them in places like B&N.
Unfortunately, I don't see anything on their website regarding what rights they buy, but off the top they look respectable and if Walmart's buying their books, their authors should have respectable sales I would think.

I haven't been pubbed by Workman, but I know people who have and they're very happy with them. Workman is known for excellent cookbooks, FWIW.
Entirely reputable publisher. Bob Miller recently left Harper Studio to work for them.

MickRooney - thanks for that link to the article about Bob Miller. Looks like Workman is recommended on P & E, as well.
