Aquiline. As in noses or features. I have never heard anyone in real life describe a nose or feature as "aquiline," but nearly every MC of every book written 20 years either side of 1950 was aquilinity defined.

My mother used the word a fair amount. I have that type of nose. Sort of. So does she. It means eagle-like, AKA angled.

Yes, aquilin is definitely a description for the nose. Much used in French.
The title is: "Lost in Translation" by Ella Frances Sanders. Another word I really like: pisan zapra, from the Malay language. It means "the time needed to eat a banana" Apparently it takes two minutes.

I often write down words and phrases as I read a book or magazine. As bookmarks, I use small pieces of lined paper and fill them as I go through a novel. It's fun to read through them at the end of the book
