Hey all. Me again, once more doing research on behalf of the nonprofit I'm interning for. I have another publisher that I can't figure out if it's traditional, self-publish, or POD, White Mane Publishing. Their website is under construction and they give no indication of what kind of publisher they are. I found pretty much nothing on Google. Once again, all I need to know is what kind of publisher they are, but if you have info for other people, that's good too. Thanks loves!

This person seems pretty tough on them. He doesn't seem to think much of their business practices at all.

I can tell you that in 2004 it was a vanity publisher, or partly a vanity publisher--it offered contracts that required authors to buy a set number of their own books. Since then, I haven't heard anything further, but publishers that offer arrangements like this don't usually abandon them in favor of non-fee publishing--they're more likely to go the other way.
