[Updated #6] Seeking Betas for 84k Near Future Adult Sci Fi

A previous revision of the opening is in here. I've made updates based on the feedback received. Here is a version of the query (which still needs a scrap and redo ).

• First come first serve, I'll have limited availability.
• I mostly read SFF, light-hearted literary fiction, and have a peculiar taste for non-fiction about niche topics I've never heard off.
• I'm probably not a good fit for romance, or women's fiction.

Some metadata:

• Genre: Near future sci fi that follows a social worker for time travelers with heavy helpings of the multiverse and dashes of climate fiction. This is not military sci fi.
• Feedback: Looking for first reactions about plot and character arcs. I can handle harsh criticism but please be constructive. I don't expect line edits or copy edits.
• Content Warnings: Strong allegories to immigration and the poor treatment of migrants. No scenes and no foul language.
• Communication: Email is probably most convenient but can also talk through PMs. I'd like to critique a chapter or two first then move on from there.
