I usually watch it, so will probably try to tune in. Who's the favourite this year? I haven't heard much about this year's competition.

I can assume the UK will get nul points as usual. And Ireland didn't even get through the semis...dang. It's been such a comedown these last few years after our blaze of glorious wins in the 90s (the sympathy vote era as we call it )

Apparently, Italy, Ukraine and the UK (!!) are favourites to win (according to an article on the BBC website).

Hell, yeah, I'm watching. Haven't missed a single one since 1986, I think.

Yeah, Ukraine is a big favourite. Eurovision better hope the Ukrainians kick the Russians out before next year if they're to hold next year's finale in Kyiv.

Haven't heard Italy yet, but I'm not feeling the UK's song this year. I kinda liked the one from last year but it had zero points (so what do I know) and I felt rather bad for the singer the way the cameras focussed on him for minutes while it became clear he hadn't gotten a single point and he was the only one.

Australia is one of my favourites. It's so fun they're still doing it!
