It's simple: replace all the vowels in any animal's name with the letter "O" and see what you get. For example, "chimpanzee" becomes "chomponzoo."

I came up with:

Olophont
Ollogotor
Boovor

and my very favorite:

Sporm Wholo

Is anyone else saying these out loud? And does anyone else think they sound like someone reciting the Canterbury Tales?

"Whan that aprill with his shoures soote
The droghte of march hath perced to the roote..."

Or maybe you just sound like The Swedish Chef.

I do.

Given what little I know about bonobos, and it's only the famously "dirty" bits, I was not sure what to expect on this thread. (And yet I clicked on it anyhow, didn't I? ... Shush.)

How refreshing. Carry on.

But, yeah, what are the rules if the animal has an "o" in its name somewhere? What does "pangolin" become?
The "o" remains, so it's "pongolon."

Really, folks, it's just for silliness. Don't overthink it.
