Although I'd been hoping to query Manse Macabre (on an initially limited basis) starting October 15th, that's looking less and less feasible as the comp hunt drags on. (And, you know, I haven't finished the synopses -- I have a rough short one, but it doesn't do a great job in explaining the developments and I suspect a short synopsis won't really work for it.)
I kinda don't want to query in November since the end of the year is supposedly a terrible time, but maybe the start of the month won't be so awful. Therefore, as much as I hate to think about it, the querying might not happen until the start of the year... meaning it's not super time sensitive.
If you're interested, let me know. Due to assorted feedback, I might try querying different versions of the opening, but right now it's kinda like what's below.
