Scheduled Maintenance

We sometimes have to shut Absolute Write's forums off to perform maintenance.

When I know in advance, I'll post an announcement here. I don't always know; sometimes things go wrong.

If the forums are off and you visit them, you'll see a statement at the very top of the page announcing that there off.

Here are some places to get information:

Absolute Write Page

If the forums are off, or the entire site is "down" please don't check back every ten minutes.

Give me at least an hour to suss out the problem and try to fix it. It's much harder to do that if people are refreshing the page.

I do that too, but my site doesn't have traffic like this. This place is like a city, mine is like a parish.
I only plan to do maintenance every 2 weeks. And I always forget. Tsk, tsk.

Yes, folks, it's that wonderful fun night every week where we try to stay up late enough to err . . . groom the board.

In 40 minutes, at 11pm Seattle time, everybody get out of the pool; we'll shut the board down for about an hour.

Tonight's beer is Full Sail Brewery's Session Black; it's pretty fine.
