Couldn't find a thread on this Canadian children's books publisher. They showed up in on Publisher's Weekly yesterday.
Looks like they are one of those smaller publishers with a long history of payment and royalty statement problems.

There's also quite a lot of other things in the article that makes this pretty bad...

Wow.

I can attest to the fact that they are beautiful books. A friend of my aunt's had a book published by them, oh, probably ten or eleven years ago, and I remember being impressed with the design and feel of it. Such a shame that their business is run so poorly. The arts council grants make me especially angry.
