Definitely disappointing and frustrating after all your work and effort. I hope things turn around with the publisher.

I sent Seventh Street Books my novel last year--and no response. Hearing about your experience, it sounds like I'm better off without them.

Just got notice from Penguin Random House that they are ceasing distribution of Pyr and Seventh Street titles at the end of February, and that Simon & Schuster will be distributing them after that. Hopefully that transition will be smooth for the sake of their authors.

Can anybody speculate on what this means? Is it a transition from one large distributor to another? Or more complicated than that?
