goed, en jou? Hoe's die weer waar jy is? Het jy die Wêreldbeker-sokkertoernooi by te woon?

Gaan goed. Die weer is lekker warm, partykeer is dit koud. Ek woon in 'n klein dorpie wat Bredasdorp genoem is. Vanoggend is dit koud so ek sit nou met 'n hieter by my voete. Op 'n ander noot, nee, ek hou nie van die Wêreldbeker nie. Ek hoor sommer oor al die dood maak stories soos die bom waarskuwing. Die sokker is alright, maar ek het die TV gekyk.

So enige iets nuuts waar jy is?

Dit is skroei. Dit is al hoe warmer hier, maar hierdie jaar, lyk dit regtig ondraaglik selfs al is die temperatuur nie so hoog. Ons kry baie warm dae en koel dae regtig. Baie vreemd weerpatrone.

i can say stuff like kif and people will know what i mean.


I cannot for the life of me praat die taal, although i can understand it - I am so soutie it hurts. It must look really funny when i have convos with my friends and they speak afrikaans and I speak english and it's no big deal.

or do you speak a bit of blended english and afrikaans? i mean, what would you say if i said, "It's lekker boet, I like to wear my jean pants." ?
