Spinning light from the darkness
the loom came alive

Tears
Your tears fell,
raining drops of innocence
soaking my shadow dry
and squeezing my darkness
like a sponge
into waves of forgiveness,
where our meaning rides
like a lonely surfer
waiting, watching, wondering,
—and alone

Falling Leaves
Falling leaves mark the beginning
of nature’s fast,
—winter is coming
Hear her icy bell blowing distance
through your memory, as trees
half naked spot the ground
with clearer visions
“Oh alas, the winds of winter blow
captive from my soul
And place the stones in order spring
doth disavow
Whose cold reprieve an answer grants
in frosted breaths
To spread new life within the
heart,
—of natures womb"
