A fly-by-night POD now closed because of a supposed virus that was sent to his computer from India, which caused him to lose ALL his files. He might resurface under another name so here is the info I have on them after being taken for an expensive ride to nowhere!

My sympathy for your lossses, Judi. On the bright side, I think you have the winning entry for The Most Aptly Named Fly-by-Night. :)

hmmmm, guess I didn't think of that. I'll be wary from now on that's for sure.

Well, I'm back but I couldn't find my original profile information to log in. Is there any way my two profiles can be linked? Thank you!

I think we should have a Roger J. Carlson Rule. Be extra cautious of publishers and agencies with "cute" names.

Most of the time, when I see a publisher with a name like Swinging From the Chandelier Publishing or an agency with a name like Triple Dog Dare Literary Agency, they turn out to be bad news for authors. There are a few rare exceptions. But those cute (and odd) names should set off writers' antennas.
