I'm not mad at it at all. I'm editing book 1, which has gone from 186k to 204k in a month, and that's a lot of progress for me (I also did some work on book 3, which I added to my NaNo wordcount). I don't know if all those words will end up making it to the final draft, but I'm just gonna make all the changes to the story and then trim the fat later.

I kinda wanna go again in December, but I wouldn't want to become too consistent šŸ˜

And I past 25k :D - total of 25,015. Still got a good ways to go to finish my first draft, but I'd say this month helped me make good progress (more than tripled the word count I started with - I now have 36,703 in the draft).

How is everyone now? Exhausted? Exhilirated? Barely existing?

I still feel like I cheated because I finished the story early and only needed a (relatively) little amount to get there. (Multi- year project) I'm absolutely dreading the editing

I always feel like NaNo is a cheat for me, because I can run off at the pen. So much of it ends up getting chucked in revisions, but it's pretty easy for me to hit 50K. It takes me a hell of a lot longer to get to 50K finished words.

I'm more a fighting slowly and steadily and thinking too much, but I reached 58k, and I'm pretty happy with the text (not that it won't need editing). I'm far from the end though, and need to figure out the build up properly...

I'm cheery tho' kinda cold :)

I stopped counting when I reached the 50K, but I didn't stop writing. I ended up splitting my Pantser project into two stories, so overall, I guess I'm around 90K Words now.

No, but because it was my first Pantser project, it ended up being a... then this happened, and then this happened, and then this happened, and then this happened, and then this happened, and then this happened, and... you get the picture

I didn't actually do a full read-through of the scenes I had written until after I had crossed the 'finish line,' and I discovered that the first half was simply a bunch of unconnected material while the second half formed a single story ---> split! :D
