Has anyone else out there been stung by the great scam of MMP? As some may have heard, two women opened a publishing business under a false name. I don't know if their intentions were to deceive from day one or not but I do know that they started out pretty good! One of my books went to number six then number three on fiction wise for sixteen weeks! Not bad for an unknown author...but then, no payments. That's when they " killed" off the president, Keely, and it was downhill from there.
Yes, I was taken royally and never received money for any work. It took me a year to start writing again and have just received my first royalty check from my new publisher. Writing is not an easy career to have but when you love your work...? Anyone else still bruised? I now have three publishers, so my eggs are not all in one basket and self publish with Amazon. Yay! Another REAL check! Keep writing!
