That's the best thing to be.

And howdy. Nice avatar, by the way.

Her name was Maggie. I miss her sometimes, but she had a long and happy life with us.

We currently have an Alley. A feline who is always dapper in her black and white tux.

Willow is a tiny tortie and has a similar coloration to Maggie.

Is that fluffy canine avatar of yours a family member?

The dog in my current avatar is a friend's dog, Cookie. Cookie likes treats.

I lost my 20-year old cat Anna last year. Miss her still.

I'm still me. A year or two ago I wanted to be CMBright, but she got there before me, so I'm stuck still being me.

Welcome back!

I'm a big orange guitar. Not really. I'm a person. An Irish person. A female Irish person... can't think of any more qualifiers right now🤣

Exactly... and my dirty secret is I'm much better at piano than guitar 🤫
But where on the piano-guitar spectrum does your writing fall? :D

I love my geriatric cat, I hate our dog, and I am sadly unmusical. But writing rocks!

I'm in Nashville, Tennessee. We know guitars.

And whiskey.

One of our "sister cities" is Belfast.

Who are all you people?

Weeeellll, I'm me, Mike H. Norsebard. I have been thus since late '71 (All right, 'Norsebard' came later - 2007 to be exact), and I'm a devotee of action adventure, B-movies, camp, fanfic and the old Xena Warrior Princess tv-show. Yup. That be me.

I'm Elsa Lanchester in Bride of Frankenstein.

Or Gojira in the 1954 Japanese original.

Monster to my friends, curmudgeon to my enemies. An old woman with violet-blue hair. Hoarder of scraps of paper. Devotee of Hindu warrior goddess Durga. Writer of some weird thing called "creative nonfiction" (don't blame me: I didn't make up the label).

Sorry to hear about Anna. I've lost nine cats. I miss them all keenly. One of them my father ran over, in the driveway. Another my sister ran over, in the driveway. I was raised in a family of reckless killers of cats. But I escaped. The cats I've been honored to live with as an adult have all died of natural causes.

I guess I should have said who I am before asking who anyone else is.

I'm a long-time member here (since 2005!). I like cats and dogs. And guitars. I used to be a Super Moderator and the moderator of Tech Help but I had to ban myself for misconduct.

It was long enough ago that nobody remembers all the horrific things you did. They were horrific, right? God, I hope you didn't use it's as a possessive. That's unforgivable.

We all agreed, Maryn. What happens in the basement stays in the basement.
