Is there an entire section for memoirs/autobiographies?

Went through the site, and cant find one. A specific section dedicated to these kinds of writings. Am I missing something?

Why, yes, there is - and it's here .

There's also a Share Your Work section, (password: vista) in which you can read and crit other people's work, and post your own for feedback when you hit 50 posts.

(Hint: Read the stickies and FAQ - and don't rush to 50 posts. Spend some time reading crits, and trying some crit yourself which you can do now. It helps get a feel for the place, and also means other people are more likely to return the favour.)

My intent isn't to be patronizing. You've got passion for your work, and that's good. You've got a lot of company here in that.

But I do think you're misreading the room rather badly.
