I echo that sentiment. May everyone have a great day snuggling up to their significant other.

Yes!!!! punches air with both fists

I just did a dog profile test and this was the result:

Shelagh you are a Siberian Husky!

You're a space cadet! You forget people's names easily, forget where you put things and sitting through an opera - well, forget it. But you're no bonehead - your mind just wanders. Your nature assures you'll never hold grudges and you don't sweat the small stuff. You avoid making enemies by not being one to sniff around someone else's business.

Sums me up Sheryl; I don't hold grudges and life's too short to sweat the small stuff!

Take the test:

It's a bit of fun for a fun day!

Now, now children. I've read what Shelagh posted on the private PA board, and it's not really anything she hasn't posted on this board already. And even if it wasn't, what difference does make? This particular forum is not the place for this sort of thing.

someplace around here, anyone seen my keys?
MOD VOICE ON:

Nav is correct. Shelagh as a contributor to the SOS book has come to this forum to wish others a Happy Valentine's Day. In that spirit it would be best to leave your feuds at the door - as my mom, rest her soul, used to say "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all"

It's only up for today, I go back to my magic Minnie Ears tomorrow. By next Valentine's Day I hope to have gotten the sparklies added. I can't wait for St Patrick's Day though :)

I feel these sentiments are best discussed in a more appropriate forum. There are many folk who do not frequent the NEPAT or its overflow and don't need to be dragged into it here. My post was written as a moderator, I'll edit it to make it more clear that it's an official position.

Please respect the other SOS authors.

Exactly, couldn't agree more with that statement.

There is an alternative to responding to someone who displeases you - it's called "ignore."

And name-calling only hurts if you respect the source.

Well, now that's true.

Sorry people, for my a moment of temorary immaturity.

JM, I got your PM - but you deleted everything! LOL

eraser, I agree; name-calling only hurts if you (the person being called) respect the source (the person doing the name-calling).

Thanks to the members who shared their good wishes.

Shelagh

Btw, the sticky Official Press Release thread has been viewed seventy times since I posted about the new entry in wikipedia. I would appreciate some feedback about the article. Thanks.
