No website. No recent sales either, but I wouldn't be surprised if they're resting on the royalties of over 30 years of good clients. Agents are Jo C. Hart and Al Hart, FWIW.

Fox Chase

I was stunned to see the name of Fox Chase here
First off they are or actually were 5 Star Gold.
At the time I knew them there really was only one agent, who was very successful. A.L. Hart

I have been in touch with him over the years, and my last letter from him, told me that he was slowly closing down and he had moved from the Manhattan address.

I wonder if he sold the agency?

But if it is the same people...you really not only have a great agency, but wonderful people to boot!

It's not only bad agencies that get listed here, Teddy. Good ones do, too. If you read what people have to say about Fox Chase in this thread, you'll see it runs neutral-to-positive.

Fox Chase is 5 stars..A.L. Hart is the Gentleman of all Gentlemen..

Dont get me wrong...
Just in my last newsy correspondence with him....which was actually just a "keep up and progress report" he was pretty clear on his side that he is heading towards retirement...

so I was shocked to see that they are still accepting queries...

There was a time like 20-25 years ago when you actually could no better than landing Fox Chase as your literary agent...

and AL Hart...is an incredible person...

Actually Aconite, I can say that he is responsible in a huge way for my writing carreer, and anyone here that can EVEN JUST GET A CONVERSATION WITH THIS MAN...should consider himself lucky and charmed...

My respect for this guy knows no bounds..

Al Hart is the best of the old school, a man who pecked out witty letters to his writers on an Underwood typewriter, and was always a dependable agent and friend. He's closing up his agency as of the end of 2011.
