Could be. I remember AW Admin mentioned she had her admin account, a moderator account, and a regular account so she could see exactly what different level users would see.

I only have this one--there's rules against more than one account!

I just checked that same thread, I'm not seeing a line through the name either, just the 'banned' banner. I don't see it on the listed threads of the forum either.

I think the strike-through is indeed only visible to mods. (Mod-goggles? If you also have X-ray vision, I'm jealous...)

On the now-dormant Vbulletin forum I used to admin, we also had the 'one user one account' rule but we had one 'experiment' account which new mods and admins could use for example to practise the ban-hammer on and then log into it to see how it looked from the other side. It was very useful after software or function upgrades.
