Publisher's Weekly announced here that Turnit.com, an online "free magazine" site, is now looking to attract small publishers to its site. As I read it, most of the material at Turnit is available without charge.

Has anyone here dealt with this company? Any thoughts?

"A “freemium” platform that does not charge its publisher-clients, Turnit.com is looking [to] attract small publishers and self-publishers, who can upload content to the site to sell or to give away free to their consumers."

Looks to be positioning itself as an etailer/distributor supported by ad revenue.

Has some content now. Revenue is from publishers who chose to sell issues and subscriptions.
