Last day of the month and of the year!

This was not the most productive month for me and I fell short on all my outstanding goals except for the graphic creation - that, at least, I achieved. I don't think I even looked at my WIP this week - too much holiday stuff going on, and not enough impetus to write (in other words, I was lazy). Didn't get near my reading goal, which is unusual for me, and fell woefully short on the exercise front. Oh, well - those goals will carry over into next month and the new year.

Speaking of 2018, I wish you all a splendid New Year's Eve/Day and a happy and productive year ahead. I'll be starting the January 2018 goals thread as soon as I finish up here, and I hope you'll all join me there!

[ ] 1. Reach 20k words on Book 5 - currently at 9,068
[ ] 2. Read five books - .5 of 5
[ ] 3. Go for two nature walks - 1 of 2
[x] 4. Finish final week of promo for Book 2's virtual book tour
[x] 5. Create 10 graphics for Book 3's January pre-release push - 9 of 10
[x] 6. Decorate the house for the holidays
[x] 7. Finish Christmas shopping/shipping
[x] 8. Write/mail Christmas cards
[x] 9. Write a holiday blog for my publisher
[ ] 10. Exercise (any kind) 30 minutes each day - 13 days of 31
[ ] 11. Lose five pounds before the end of the month - 2 of 5
[ ] 12. Start work on Sekrit Solstice story

End of the month and end of the year check-in!

I'm calling the office done, even though I still need to sort and give away stuff. Seems easier on my brain somehow if I make that a different task. I'll be carrying that one over to the new year, alas.
[X] Finish cleaning office:
[X] File stack of papers
[X] Find permanent places for anything I'm keeping
[ ] Give away the "give away" pile
[X] Finish edits on the E shorty story.
[X] Finish reading Do Not Say We Have Nothing for book club
[X] Read All the Missing Girls for January's meeting

Constant Goals:
[52] Write 1K words a day (for 52 weeks).

Done! I'll have a new goal for next year, but I'm pretty pleased I pulled that one off.

[ ] Start video game streaming channel
-----[X] Start posting on the proper forums
-----[X] Double check streaming programs and hardware
-----[ ] Play something for God's sake you've been putting this off since Sept 2016. - Guests at the end of the month have kept us from stepping up. But within the first week of the year, it'll happen.

Congratulations, BD! That 1k a day goal is incredible. Well done!
