Just for fun -- one more game thread. I got the idea from Norman D Gutter, who mentioned cinquains.
Cinquains are five-line poems. I've found several sets of rules for them -- I've picked the form below because it lends itself best to a game. Just start with the last line of the previous poem (as in the chain, chain, chain thread).
Line 1 = 2 syllables
Line 2 = 4 syll.
Line 3 = 6 syll.
Line 4 = 8 syll.
Line 5 = 2 syll.
Okay, here's your start:
Floodlights
Bathe shy faces
In a crude dazzle splash.
Frightened men hunch and wail, helpless.
Dogs bark.
