Thanks for the welcome. Yes I am finding Absolute Write to be not very user friendly, but I am sure I will figure it out. Which leads me to your invitation.... It is not immediately obvious to me how I can DM a person.... (insert an emoji of me eyerolling myself...)

If you click on the person's avatar, then Start Conversation, you can DM that person.

Alternately, there is a little envelope at the top of the screen. Type in the name of the person you want to DM.

If you look at the top right of this page you'll see a little envelope icon. Click on that, and it'll take you to our Conversation page, where you can message other members directly.

Feel free to Convo a moderator whenever you have a question. You can see which mods are online if you look on the left-hand side of the main Forum landing page.
