I contacted Scholastic via phone and reached a customer service rep. I explained to her that I am looking to submit a book to Children's Press and wanted the correct mailing address and contact name (the information found on the internet is outdated). She suggested I email her the query and she'd forward it along to the appropriate person. So I did.
Has anyone dealt with Children's Press? I'm not questioning the publishing house's credibility. I'm only wondering whether others submitted their work via a customer service rep. I'm uneasy about the transaction. Should I try another route to ensure my proposal gets in the right hands?
