I've searched for Catapult Books on this forum and have only found references to it as a press that has acquired other imprints. Is there no thread for this publisher?

I don't see a thread for them either, but I can tell you that, as a bookseller and an avid reader, Catapult is one of my very favorite small presses. Their books are quality, for sure.
They are distributed by PGW with standard discounts to bookstores, full returnability, etc. We have a great sales rep who meets with us at least twice a year to go over their catalog. They do an excellent job of getting advanced reader copies to reviewers and bookstores (even mine, which is tiny and ignored by most of the big 5). And, as a fan of literary fiction that's a bit off-the-beaten-path, I freaking love their books.
I don't know anything about their contracts but I assume (I know, I know) that they have a decent track record. They are very legit, their imprints are also good, and I've heard no murmurings about problems.
