Kind of an odd request here.
Looking for a crit of three detailed synopses, totaling about 20,000 words. Will swap for a short story of similar length, or the first 20K-30K of a novel.
These synopses are for already-published books. I'm currently working on Book 4 in a series, and am sending it out for a manuscript assessment. The editor has asked for detailed synopses of the earlier series books.
So mainly, I need these critted for coherence: did I strip out so much detail the storylines have become confusing? Are there bits of detail included that seem superfluous? That sort of thing. Nothing I can do at this point about the plots themselves.
The books are SF, something between milSF and space opera, largely character-driven. Think Star Trek crossed with The Expanse, but further into the future.
I'd prefer to swap for SF or fantasy, but I'm open to other genres.
Thanks in advance.
