I was just looking into this and I found a reddit page where one of the winning writers from last year said they submitted in January and was told her novel was accepted in December. That's quite a long time to wait but at least hers is getting published.
Although come to think of it, she didn't say how long it took for them to ask for pages. That may have been immediate.

I already received my R (back on 6/18) and per QT someone received a request a couple of days ago! A bit sad about the rejection, but happy to have had the opportunity...

Did that come directly to you or did you have to go onto QT?

I also received my R directly to my e-mail...

How do you find this on QT? I have to admit I've been too scared to query so far so am a complete dolt on how to check on things on QT

Yes, what Jackie said! When you go to QT you go to the Publisher drop down menu where you'll find Berkley. You can then check the Data Explorer for query responses (so far I've seen two requests and three Rs, including mine!)

Wow, they must be moving really slowly.

Thanks for that. I'm not sure if I should be worried though. I don't see mine, which was science fiction at 117,000. I did get the response that it was uploaded successfully and if I click the link on my email it says no decision has been made but it doesn't seem to be listed on the submission page. :e2cry:

Is that a paid subscription feature? When I try, it says it's Premium only.

Hi Cyia! It may be--I pay for the yearly subscription (which doesn't help my querying anxiety LOL!)

@Bitterboots, just saw your post! Don't worry--Data Explorer is self-reported! So long as you received the confirmation you're absolutely fine!

In case anyone out there is still waiting on Berkley, I found this interview with Tom Colgan in which he discusses the Open Submission Program and how many submissions they received (as well as an amusing, unrelated anecdote about James Patterson): Link
