April Blog Chain

I thought I would put this out there and try and get a chain, even a mini-chain, going this month to avoid another break. The format is, of course, shamelessly stolen from those who have gone before. As always, the goal is to be creative, have fun and discover new blogs.

This month's prompt: The Character Interview

As with last month, this will be two parts. Part one is optional: describe one of your characters in 50 words or less. Part two is where things get fun: have that character interview you! Using whatever format you like (Q&A, prose), make a little interview with your character as the interviewer and yourself as the subject. There's no word limit, but do try and keep it under 1k for your fellow chain members' sanity. Read and comment on other participants' posts if you possibly can--they'll be doing the same for you!

You have two days to complete your post. When you are finished, please post a link to your post on the thread so I can let the next person in line know that their turn is up. If you signed up but find yourself unable to participate, please PM me or post in the thread. If you fail to post on your blog and on the thread within two days, I'll bump you down to the end of the line on the third day.

Please include a list of all participants' blogs in your blog post, and keep in mind we're not starting until Monday to give people time to sign up.

I'm a newbie, so how does the chain work? We all do this post on Monday and then the next person comes up with the next post idea? Or is it Person A posts Monday, Person B posts Wednesday, Person C on Friday, and so on?

Either way, could I join the chain? I've only just started my blog, but I think this is a good way for me to get it going and a great way for me to think about my characters.

We go one at a time. Starting on Monday, each of us will have two days to write a blog entry and post a link to it in this thread. Once that person has posted, it will be the next person's turn. If two days go by without a post, the person gets booted to the end of the list and the person after them goes.

Ideally, participants read and comment on all the other posts in the chain too. But that's beyond my power to enforce
