I read comics back in my twenties. Now, it is mostly webcomics. I don't read much manga, either in Japanese, which I would love to learn, or translated.

My husband just started getting me Witch Hat Atelier. Excellent fantasy manga, great takes on magic with gorgeous art and the WORST CLIFFHANGERS IN THE UNIVERSE *places order for book 3*

I love comic books and sometimes read manga as well. I use to be very into DC, but I am into Marvel now as well. Also note my username! It's a Superman reference (well Krypton reference).

I like having a graphic novel going at the same time as a novel. Can switch between them depending on what you're in the mood for. I'm currently working through the compendium of Saga in between novel readings, and often they're both battling for my attention.

I read manga, my favorite are Bleach, Chainsaw Man, Gundam 0083 Stardust Memory: Rebellion, Yotsubato, Medaka Box, honorable mention goes to AKB49 despite never finishing it.

As for comics, aside from V for Vendetta, Danger Girl, one particular comic I want to shill for is Superman/Batman Vol 1 #63 which features Batman going up against Gorilla Grodd who's mind-controlled the world. I recommend reading it, and its ending might be a tad anticlimatic, but as someone who enjoys Superman not as a power fantasy but a beacon of hope (Peace on Earth, and I'm a sucker for Superman Returns when he saves the plane and Metropolis) this issue really showcases what Superman truly means to people.
