here's one way to do it:
1. Add filler text at the start of a line, say a number of dots
2. Set that text to the same color as the background.
3. You can select a color from the editing menu, but none of them match the background for me; I get a better result by creating the format tags manually, like so:
opening tag: "[" + "COLOR=RRGGBB" + "]"
closing tag: "[" + "/COLOR" + "]"
where rr, gg, and bb are the intensity values for red, green, and blue. They are in the format of hexadecimal numbers from 00 to FF (255)
For me, the value EEEEEE works best, but I've listed some samples below so you can check for yourself:
