Alan Wake Remastered

I will admit I bought it because I'm a big Control fangirl, but I'm kind of enjoying being repeatedly murdered in the woods by zombie lumberjacks.

It's eleven years old, remastered or not. The mechanics are MUCH sloppier than anything from the last five years.

But the narrative is interesting, and has some wit. And some of the battles are an awful lot of fun.

I have been wavering on whether to get this one. Would anyone be able to say how much value it is likely to have for someone who played and enjoyed the original?
