That really sucks. If you've e-mailed and called many times without reply, then I think the next thing to do would be to e-mail, letting them know you've tried contacting them numerous times, and you are thinking of ending the contract you have with them. If they don't reply, send them an e-mail to sever the contract, stating that they no longer rep you and your books.

McGinniss Associates

Anyone--anyone at all--been dealing with McGinniss Associates? They signed me on in January 2014 and after an email or two have dropped out of sight. I've sent letters, emails, called them, etc. Nothing... Their website is still alive, but are they? Any news would be appreciated. I don't want to start a new agent search until I have a better idea of what happened to these guys.

Short of you visiting them and seeing for yourself if they're still extant, I don't know what to tell you. Check your contract (but you've probably already done that).

ETA: Another in '15, but folks reporting bounced email for much of '16.

ETA2: Per QT, as of '18, email finally fixed and confirmed open.
