Hi all -

I need to replace the driver's side mirror on my 99 Corolla. From the car-parts store and the garage the cost is about $50, but you can get one online for half the cost.

Does anyone know if the online parts for things like this are likely to be equal in quality to the garage/Autozone price, and there's some other reason they are so cheap online, or are they cheap because they are a bad product?

I don' t live in your country and I don't know anything about your car. However , in the UK I am happy to buy non mechanical parts from online car breakers. Wing mirrors can be expensive to buy new , but a secondhand one will do the job just well .
