We're half way through the year! How is everyone doing? How do your writing habits compare with before you started this challenge? Don't be disheartened if you've missed a week here and there, or even several months. It takes effort to build up and then maintain your writing momentum before it's not part of your routine. The good thing is, it gets much easier the more you do it.
A Year of Writing Flash Fiction: Week 27!
Are you the victor or the defeated, flash fictioneers?
Your Week 27 prompt is: The spoils of war.
You have until the end of Friday 12th July to write, polish and submit your story.
There's no problem with using whatever prompt you want, whenever you want. The only thing I'd ask is that if you post it for feedback in Polished and Ready, don't include "YOWFF" (Year of Writing Flash Fiction) in the title. That's only because the "YOWFF" indicates that the piece has been written for the challenge, and there's a deadline for when those pieces have to be edited and sent out.
Non-YOWFF stories are always welcome in Polished and Ready. If you're also able to give feedback to a few of the other stories posted there, I'm sure their authors would much appreciate it.
Check the market list in the Submitting and Selling Flash Fiction sub-forum of this room, if you haven't seen it.
