A Discord Channel for AW chat?

The two main things that bother me about current chat are
a. it kicks me out whenever I switch between apps (I tend to have Chrome and Scrivener open in full screen, and swipe between them — although sometimes it also likes to just kick me out for no reason), and
b. it doesn't show chat history, which makes it harder to follow conversations (or participate in them — especially combined with that first issue). This latter issue is a major one for me, basically the main reason why I'm never actually around in current AW chat.

That sucks, tho' I've no idea what app you're using to get into AW chat or what you're running it on. Sounds like your chat app is what sucks? What if you visited via your Chrome browser using Mibbit?

I used to use IRC back in the day. I've never been able to figure out how to use discord. I sign in and I am just confused by the layout.

When you get there, there's a blue and white icon for AW. Click it. The first time you'll end up in the rules channel to click the hand so you can post.

There's still the IRC but from what I've seen nothing happens there.

It’s not too difficult once someone who’s active there talks you through it. Brigid helped me and I can use it just fine.
